Welcome to my web site
I live in London and have attended part time classes offered by various Adult Education Institutes, Morley College and courses at St. Ives School of Painting, in Cornwall. These courses have all played a major role in the development of my work from doodles, to more serious work, enabling me to build both my creative and technical skills. My work is representational, abstract or somewhere in between. It often has a dreamlike quality to it. I also make designer stuff like Tee shirts and jewellery, you can see examples in the gallery.
Living and working in London, is a source of constant inspiration and frustration.St Ives, Cornwall, where I spend some of my time is, I feel, the other side of the inspirational coin, providing as it does peace and the sea.
People are a major preoccupation, I am fascinated by the bodies, expressions and movements of people and the changes that take place through our lives. In its diversity my work is a response to my curiosity about and preoccupation with, living in a complex and sometimes bizarre world.
